Single rotor PACKWINGs as part of a future modular air transportation system

Single rotor PACKWINGs work with one central vertical rotor in the basic module, which will be opened and closed by shutters assembled in flight direction to reduce drag when moving from vertical to horizontal flight and vice versa.

Passenger cabins and cargo units are attached to the wing body within a central frame and fixed at three points.

The wing bodies can be combined in several constellations by their geometry, using standardized connection & stability units.
